About Brian Hill

Brian Hill grew up in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to obtain his Masters Degree from Arizona State University, which at that time was a premier party school but now takes itself much too seriously. Even while living in the desert, he remained a loyal Green Bay Packer fan. His favorite technology of the last twenty years is the home satellite dish that allows you to pick up the Green Bay games from anywhere in the country. What a great time to be alive.

Brian began his writing career while still in college, when he sold a story that became the cover story for a national sports magazine. He then endured a ten-year period of working at very boring finance jobs for large companies. But fortune smiled on him when corporate downsizing eliminated his job and he was able to pursue his writing career.

Besides watching football, Brian spends a lot of time golfing, thinking about golfing, and practicing golf, mainly because the game is so frustrating it makes the rest of life seem much easier.

Brian's other hobby is gardening, which makes sense because it takes much less time to grow beans and squash than it does to find a publisher for a book, or a producer for a movie script. The amount of fertilizer spread around in all these activities is about the same, though.

His dream is to be sitting in a darkened theater and see his name as Screenwriter on the opening credits of a movie, then of course leave before the end so he doesn't have to hear any negative comments from the audience as they exit.

Brian lives in Fountain Hills, Arizona, which is really a suburb of the Midwest, so many people from Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota live there.
